The other half

She washes, cleans and irons
Makes my bed and cooks my tea
She’s a mother, wife and lover
But she’s so much more to me

She’s in the wind that blows my hair
The ground beneath my feet
She is the air that lets me breathe
She makes me feel complete

Of course I’ll never tell her
I’m a hard old fashioned man
So I’ll write it down for all to see
She’ll find it, if she can!
